About Dr. Valbona Dumi
Dr. Valbona Dumi grew up in Greece and earned her bachelor’s degree in dental technology from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 2006. After two years of practising as a dental technician she continued her studies and completed her dental degree from the “Albanian University” in 2013. She practiced dentistry and dental technology in Albania for four years.
Dr. Dumi immigrated to Canada from Albania as a foreign trained dentist and after competition of the equivalency process she became a licensed dentist in Canada in 2020.
Dr. Dumi is enthusiastic about her profession and uses a multidisciplinary approach to cosmetic dentistry and dental prosthesis. In her treatment planning she includes digital smile design, mock ups, crown lengthening, implant placement, orthodontics, oral surgery etc.. to provide with the best functional and aesthetic results in each case.
Dr. Dumi keeps up to date and is always learning by participating in dental continuing education courses. She has completed many certified courses in different aspects of dentistry with particular focus in the fields of Cosmetic Dentistry , Implant , Invisalign , Laser dentistry , Cad-cam CEREC technology ( in office same day crown placement) ect.
In her spare time she loves playing the guitar, spending time with her family, and travelling.
